DO YOU HAVE OFFICE HOURS?
Yes! While working from home is fun, my schedule is busy. So in an effort to work with my schedule and yours, my hours are Monday - Friday 9am-4pm EST. If there is a deadline I need to meet for you, I do offer some Saturday appointments. You can reach me either through phone, email or skype session, but please note that some responses may take anywhere from 24-72 hours depending on the work load. I always advise that you try to make an appointment with me before hand so we both are available at the same time.
DO YOU HOST WEBSITES YOU DESIGN?
No. When we have our initial conversation about designing the perfect website for you, I will go over a few host sites I recommend that are easy to use, cost efficent and have impeccable customer service. If you have a different site in mind you would like to use, then I work with what you're comfortable with. Before I begin the design of your new website, I ask that my clients purchase their domain name and any other essentials they would like to go with their site (which we will go through before your purchase), then I can continue to develop your site as planned. With this being said, Salt Air Designs is not responsible for any server downtime, online communication, or server issues that may occur through the host once your site is launched. After your site is complete, any additional work will be quoted and billed for at an hourly rate.
IS YOUR DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
Please note that all deposits are nonrefundable.The deposit secures the payment method and insures that all clients are serious about working with me. I try to schedule to give enough time for my clients to be sure Salt Air Designs is right for them. That being said, I will often turn away clients that request deadlines in your time slot, but if you back out of a project, this leaves an open spot in the queue for a new client and your initial deposit will not be refunded.
WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT METHODS?
Currently, Salt Air Designs is accepting payment by check, cash and credit card. If you choose to pay via credit card there will be 3.75% added for tax purposes. Please keep in mind that with most packages and designs there are usually two overall payments. The first initial payment secures your spot with Salt Air Designs. Your second payment is due before all files and documents are handed over. If you are unable to give a 50% deposit up front, I am willing to work with my clients giving them flexiblitity in payments, limited up to four overall payments. All payments will be written up in the proposal I give to my clients before we begin working together.
